Plenty of plumbing companies grow by adding vans and call centres. The trade-off is that the owner stops seeing the work. Precision Plumbing went the other way. The result is that a customer from ten years ago calls the same number and gets the same person, which is why a lot of the work here is repeat business and referrals rather than advertising.
The other advantage is knowledge that accumulates. Working a 20-mile radius for over two decades means the properties become familiar. The older tracts, the canyon addresses, the newer villages, and the business parks all behave differently, and a plumber who has worked all of them starts in the right place instead of the obvious one.

What Licensing Actually Means For You

Contractor license #778399 is held with the California Contractors State License Board. It is worth understanding what that covers, because “licensed” gets used loosely. A state licence is not a certificate somebody prints. It requires documented trade experience, a passing grade on trade and law examinations, and a bond held on file. The Board keeps the status public, so you can search the number and see whether the licence is active, what classification it holds, and whether the bond is current. That takes under a minute, and it is worth doing before anyone works on your property. 

Licensing also decides who can pull a permit. Water heater replacements, gas line work, sewer replacements, and repipes commonly need one, depending on the scope and where the property sits. A licensed plumbing contractor pulls it in their own name and carries it through inspection. Unpermitted work in those categories has a habit of appearing during escrow when a property is sold, and it becomes an urgent expense at an awkward moment.

How We Prefer To Handle A Plumbing Job

  • Find it before opening it. Testing and camera work come before cutting concrete or drywall. Guessing costs you flooring, not us.
  • Explain it plainly. You hear what is wrong, what the choices are, and what each involves, in ordinary words rather than trade shorthand.
  • Repair where repair holds. If a part swap buys you several more years, that is the recommendation, even though a replacement pays better.
