We've had a great experience with Precision Plumbing. Most recently, they helped us locate and repair three separate leaks under our concrete slab. They started with a free inspection and did a very thorough job diagnosing the issue, clearly explaining what was going on and what our options were. Their approach was professional, direct, and honest, no upselling, just practical solutions and clear communication. The work was handled quickly and efficiently. I felt confident in their expertise the entire time. We had also used them previously for a midnight plumbing emergency, and they were incredibly responsive and reliable, one of the only companies willing to come out at that time which is why we trusted them again for this most recent project. Martin & his team are super knowledgeable, dependable, a great value for what they provide and easy to work with. I highly recommend Precision Plumbing!!!Posted on Google![]()

Our main water line sprung a leak and it was such a inconvenience when you don't have proper running water. After finding Precision on Google, I decided to give him a call. He was very responsive and was the first out of 3 plumbers to arrive next day in the AM. He was very easy to talk to and didn't try to up sell like the other ones. His quote was fair and I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. I would call them back if I need any plumbing services in a heart beat!Posted on Google![]()

Our main sewer line had been giving us issues for over a year. Slow drains, weird smells in the backyard, and finally a backup in the guest bathroom that pushed us over the edge. Got three quotes for a sewer replacement for our home in Laguna and these guys came in not the cheapest but definitely the most thorough. The tech ran a camera down the line first and walked me through exactly what we were looking at on his tablet. Turned out we had old clay pipe with two big root intrusions and a partial collapse near the cleanout. They scheduled the work for the following week and got it done in two days. Crew was respectful, kept the yard damage to a minimum, and even reseeded the section of grass they had to dig up. Haven't had a single issue since and I sleep better knowing it's handled.Posted on Google![]()

I’m usually very nervous to call any sort of service company. I feel like they always make me feel stupid and rip me off. My toilet was clogged and I was already embarrassed to contact anyone. When I contacted Martin, he was immediately kind and explained what he would be doing. He did the job perfectly and even left my bathroom cleaner than it was before!Posted on Google![]()

Really happy with the service from Precision Plumbing. I called them out for a plumbing issue at my home and they showed up quickly, which I really appreciated. The plumber was easy to talk to, explained what was going on in and got everything fixed without any hassle, no confusion, just straight to the point and got the job done right. Overall, solid experience. I’d definitely use them again if I run into any plumbing problems.Posted on Google![]()

Was bracing for a hard sell when our 14 year old water heater started leaking. Two other plumbers basically tried to push tankless on me before they even looked at the unit. Called Precision in Mission Viejo and he came out the next morning, walked through both options, laid out the real cost difference and the gas line work tankless would need. No pressure either way. We went with a 50 gallon tank because the math made sense for our family. He pulled the permit, did the install the next day, hauled the old one out, and strapped the new one properly for earthquake code. Straightforward company.Posted on Google![]()

Slow drains in pretty much every sink and tub at the same time, which I now know is not a good sign. Called Precision on a Monday morning and they came to the house by 1pm. He camera scoped the line first, showed me a wall of grease and gunk about thirty feet out, and explained why snaking it would only buy me a few months. They hydrojeted the whole line for a fair price. Drains have been running smoothly. Saved as #1 Plumber lol.Posted on Google![]()

Both units in my duplex were backing up and I knew it was time to get the main line looked at. A friend in Laguna had used Martin before and said to call him. He came out, scoped the line first so we could actually see what was going on in there, and then hydrojetted the whole thing. years of buildup just gone.Posted on Google![]()

These things always seem to happen on the weekend - the outlet from my water heater started leaking. I did a Google search to find a plumber that was open and found Precision Plumbing in Mission Viejo. Within an hour of my call, Martin was at my door. He diagnosed the problem and gave me some options. I chose getting a new water heater and fixing associated fittings. Martin was back out Monday morning to do the work. They were prompt, professional and friendly. They knew I had a tight schedule and they finished earlier than expected. They double checked to make sure everything was working, including replacing the pressure regulator to the house, which probably saved me from an even bigger future repair bill. I highly recommend Precision, for your local plumbing needs. Great service and fair pricing.Posted on Google![]()

Martin helped us in the past with a clogged drain and this time with a slab leak. Again, I can't say enough good things about his team. From the start, it was clear they really know their stuff and are incredibly transparent and honest. They were thorough with the inspection and took the time to explain everything in detail. The crew that came to do the repipe was just as impressive. They were hardworking, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves. It was very obvious they knew exactly what they were doing and were great at it!Posted on Google![]()

A toilet that runs nonstop can waste hundreds of gallons of water a day. You may hear it refill on its own in the middle of the night or need to jiggle the handle after every flush. These small problems add up on your water bill month after month. Many homeowners try a few store bought parts, only to hear the toilet running again a week later.
Precision Plumbing finds the exact part causing the problem instead of guessing. Our technicians check the flapper, fill valve, flush valve, and chain to see where water is escaping. We replace worn parts with quality components that fit your specific toilet model. Before we leave, we test several flushes to make sure the tank fills and shuts off properly.

Water around the base of a toilet often points to a failed seal underneath. Every flush can push a little water onto the floor, where it soaks into the subfloor and grout. A sewer smell in the bathroom is another common sign of a broken seal. Left alone, the leak can rot the floor and spread to the ceiling below in two story homes.
We pull the toilet, clean the area, and inspect the floor for soft spots or water damage. Our wax ring replacement service installs a fresh seal and new closet bolts for a tight fit. If you prefer, we can use a waxless seal, which handles small shifts better and is easier to reset. The toilet is then secured in place and checked with several test flushes.

This company opened in 2000 and has worked in South Orange County ever since. That stretch covers more than two decades of local jobs, repairs, installations, and repeat calls.
Martin Reagan founded the business and stays involved in the work itself. You talk to the person behind the name, not a call center passing the job between departments.
We are a licensed California contractor, with license #778399. Licensed work follows the applicable requirements for the plumbing project.
Recommendations stay transparent, and nothing lands on your bill without an explanation first. You hear the reasoning behind each option before choosing how to proceed.

Diagnosis starts before any tool comes out. Our plumber flushes the toilet, watches the tank cycle, and looks for signs around the bowl, base, and supply connection.
Findings get explained in plain terms, along with what each option involves. Some toilets need a single replacement part, while others have damage that changes the scope of the work.
The necessary work gets completed, followed by several full flush cycles. Our technician confirms that the tank refills correctly, the fixture stays secure.
The flange is the fitting that anchors your toilet to the drain pipe in the floor. In older homes, cast iron flanges rust and break, while plastic flanges can crack under pressure. A damaged flange lets the toilet rock, loosens the seal, and causes leaks that keep coming back. New flooring can also leave the flange too low, which makes a proper seal hard to achieve.
Our team fixes broken flanges with repair rings or replaces the fitting entirely when needed. We make sure it sits at the correct height for your finished floor and is fastened securely. This gives the toilet a solid base and lets the new seal do its job. Solving the flange problem first saves you from replacing seals over and over.
Some toilets clog far more often than they should. Older low flow models from the 1990s often struggle to clear waste in a single flush. Toys, wipes, and hygiene products can also lodge deep in the trap where a plunger cannot reach. Pushing too hard with the wrong tool can crack the porcelain or force the blockage further down.
We use a toilet auger designed to clear the trap without scratching the bowl. If the blockage is out of reach, we pull the toilet and remove the object from below. When several drains back up at once, the problem is usually beyond the toilet, and drain cleaning on the main line may be needed. We tell you what caused the clog and how to keep it from happening again.
Choosing a new toilet involves more than picking a style. Rough in size, bowl shape, and seat height all affect how well it fits your bathroom and your family. A poor install can leave the toilet uneven, leaking, or flushing weakly from day one. Many homeowners also want a model that suits a remodel or matches new fixtures.
Our team helps you choose a toilet replacement that fits your space and needs, including comfort height and dual flush models. We remove and dispose of the old toilet, then set the new one level on a fresh seal. Supply lines and shutoff valves are replaced if they show wear. If you are updating the whole bathroom, we can also handle bathroom faucet installation during the same visit.

Add a few drops of food coloring to the tank and wait 15 to 30 minutes without flushing. If color shows up in the bowl, the flapper is letting water slip through. This simple test catches leaks that make no noise but still raise your water bill.
Hard water minerals often clog the small rim holes and siphon jet that push water into the bowl. A low water level in the tank or a partial clog in the trap can also weaken the flush. Cleaning the jets or adjusting the fill level usually restores flushing power.
The porcelain bowl and tank can last for decades if they do not crack. The parts inside the tank, such as the flapper and fill valve, usually need replacing every 5 to 10 years. Hard water can wear these parts out even faster.
Toilets made before 1994 can use 3.5 gallons or more per flush. New toilets sold in California use no more than 1.28 gallons, which can cut toilet water use by more than half. Some local water agencies also offer rebates on high efficiency models.
In most cases, the toilet can be used right after installation and testing. If caulk was applied around the base, it may need about 24 hours to fully cure. Avoid rocking or leaning on the toilet during that time.
